This year we had our 2nd Annual Kayak Poker Run. It was hit with the club raising just over $625 to repair  the Cupola. The reason it was a great success was with the help of all the volunteers and people that helped donate time and money. 17 kayakers paddled along Long Island Sound and finished up at Pine Island with a BBQ Picnic and Prizes were given out to the days winners. Since this years event was such a huge success we are planning on have the 3rd later in the summer of ‘08. Keep an eye out for the date.
